How to keep the family connected

Introducing the latest offering by Australian wearable tech company Spacetalk and its new kids Adventurer watch.

Wanting to keep your children safe is the most important thing to parents. Between school, sports, hanging out with friends and a generally busy lifestyle, knowing where your child is at all times is a must.

With this in mind, Australian wearable tech company, Spacetalk, has built on the success of its initial Spacetalk Kids watch from 2018 and is releasing its most durable, tech savvy and wearable watch, the Adventurer.

What sets Spacetalk’s Adventurer watch apart from other smartwatches on the market is that it is designed with kids safety in mind and made for kids aged 5-12 years old. Made from Thermoplastic Polyurethane, the new Adventurer has been recognised by independent cyber security experts as meeting the highest possible standards in data privacy, security and government regulations.

Parents have full control of the device using the newly updated smartphone app which allows them to set the watch to school mode for less distraction, track kids with the improved GPS locator and set a safe contact list to include other family members.

Improvements on the initial model also include updated 4G capabilities with more coverage than ever before, whilst still continuing to block internet and social media functions. The Adventurer is also dust and water resistant with a built-in fitness tracker so kids can lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

Other features of the Adventurer also include a weather app, reminders and notifications and an SOS alert function should kids need it in an emergency.

The new Adventurer watch also allows you to share photos and videos with your trusted family using the 5MP in-built camera, creating a fun and easy way to communicate while on the go.

Safety may be front of mind with the Adventurer watch, but so too is style. This new design from Spacetalk is the first of its kind with five different strap colours to choose from - Midnight, Ocean, Mist, Coral and Cloud - that can also be ordered separately as an accessory.

The Spacetalk Adventurer retails for $349 and is available to purchase via www.spacetalk.com and selected retailers across Australia.
