An authority on all things toys since 1948, Toys”R”Us is celebrating its 75th birthday this year, with the first Australian store opened 30 years ago. Physical stores in Australia were closed in 2018.

But newly appointed CEO, Penny Cox, who joins from Carousell Group in Singapore, says the much-loved brand is back – and better than ever.

Toys are our DNA at Toys”R”Us and it’s an honour to lead the brand back into the Australian market and help a new generation of Aussie kids play, imagine and explore,” said Cox.

“As a mother of three young children myself, I know all too well the importance of finding the right toys to stimulate, educate and provide countless hours of fun and enjoyment.

“At Toys”R”Us we’re proud to have a product range that is not just extensive but inclusive to all ages and budgets, particularly in our current economic climate.

“We are the same brand Aussies have known and loved for decades and we’re about to remind them all why. As we enter this new era we look forward to reconnecting with customers, new and old, online to make Christmas and toy shopping easier than ever.”

Toys“R”Us is currently offering a free gift with every purchase above $70, and there are 98 Top Deals at up to 90% off, with more bargains to be announced for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
