Wellness app available for children
There is no denying that the past few years have been hard on everybody. With new research revealing kids are amongst those most affected by the COVID19 pandemic.
Spacetalk Adventurer’s new software update will now feature Wellness, a new app that puts kids’ mental and physical needs in the spotlight letting parents know how they are really feeling.
The Wellness app will measure feelings, activity and heart rate to give parents an insight into their child’s mood while they are away from them. With a series of cute emojis at the center of the app, parents can also request these stats on demand (not available during School Mode or Quiet Time) to be up to date with their child’s live emotions.
The Spacetalk Adventurer has been one of the most loved kids’ smartwatches on the market for the past few years, with a focus on safety and communication. This new software update adds an extra level of peace of mind for parents and more fun for kids by putting wellness alongside safe communication.
Improvements on the initial model also include updated 4G capabilities with more coverage than ever before, whilst continuing to block internet and social media functions. The Adventurer is also dust and water resistant (IP67) with a built-in fitness tracker so kids can lead an active and healthy lifestyle.
Other features of the Adventurer also include a weather app, reminders and notifications and an SOS alert function should kids need it in an emergency.
The new Adventurer watch also allows you to share photos and videos with your trusted family using the 5MP in-built camera, creating a fun and easy way to communicate while on the go.
Spacetalk Wellness is not just a tool for parents, but also a fun app for kids with emojis representing their mood as well as a Funny Sounds button which will play a sound of their choice (Animals, Drums, Musical Instruments and even Whoopee!) to heighten their mood and make them laugh.
The latest software update is free and planned for mid-September 2022. An alert to upgrade will be sent out to all Spacetalk subscribers.
