Seven household hacks to make life easier



A Melbourne woman has shared seven 'mind-blowing' hacks to make life easier around the home, including how to tell what day your bread was made and tips to perfectly portion pasta.

The Daily Mail reports Jackie Hagart shared the surprising hacks in a two part video on her popular social media page My Friend Jackies House.

Her followers were shocked by some of the hacks, saying they felt like they had just graduated from 'life college', the website reported.

Here are Jackie's top household hacks 

1. The hole in a slotted spoon measures one portion of pasta

2. Packing cubes dissolve in water

3. Most toilets have a release button so the lid and seat can be removed for cleaning 

4. MacBook's have a built in magnet that airtags stick on

5. The coloured tag on a loaf of bread indicates the day it was made

6. Ceiling fans have a summer and winter setting which changes the direction of the air flow

7. iPhones have a built in measuring application that allows you to measure distances as well as the dimensions of objects.
