Luxury Aussie fashion brand The Daily Edited (TDE), which specialises in personalised leather goods, is up for sale
TDE is a market leader for personalised accessories, retailing quality, fashion-forward leather goods that consumers can customise with chic monograms. Its product range includes bags, purses, wallets, organisers and phone and laptop cases for both men and women.
TDE has an established retail footprint with a flagship store in the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney’s CBD, an online shop and shopping enabled on its popular social media platforms. The brand is also well known for its innovative collaborations with international influencers and fashion personalities, such as Hailey Bieber and Amber Valletta.
KordaMentha Restructuring is seeking expressions of interests in the sale. Partner, Kate Conneely, said she expected a lot of interest in the sale from potential buyers looking for a retail business with strong potential for growth.
“The Daily Edited is already a favourite of fashion-conscious consumers, both locally and overseas. It is well known for the quality of its products and beautifully curated shopping experiences, both in-store and online,” she said. “The fundamentals for a high-performing, boutique fashion business are in place. This is a great opportunity for a buyer looking to build on an established brand with loyal and engaged consumers, and set it up for future success.”
The brand formally entered liquidation just 17 months after one of its co-founders exited the business. TDE, which boasts more than 332,000 followers on Instagram, resolved that the company should be wound up during a general meeting of its members on September 30. The business established a large following by dealing in personalised and leather accessories, including wallets, bags, phone cases, key rings and travel accessories.
