Beat the chills with winter warming gin-inspired cocktails from Mirabeau
- Written by The Women's Magazine
As we head into winter many Australians think gin drinking days are over, but fear not, gin is great for cooler months too.
When the temperature drops, tastebuds change, and we often find ourselves craving a slightly different beverage to those we enjoy in the summer months. The versatility of gin makes it the perfect staple for all seasons!
Taking inspiration from the abundance of botanicals found along the French Riviera, Mirabeau’s Dry Rosé Gin redefines the normally sugary pink gin category, with a dry, yet highly aromatic style.
Bottled in a beautiful unique gin bottle, Mirabeau’s Dry Rosé Gin is distilled with a touch of its much-loved Rosé wine. It makes a delicious Mediterranean G&T and delectable cocktails, including pink versions of some of the classics, such as Rosé Negronis and Rosé Gin Martinis.
Unlike others in the growing pink gin category, Mirabeau has used grape spirit, made from upcycled grape skins after they have been pressed during the winemaking process, as its base. The addition of its award-winning Rosé as an element in the macerate of botanicals, confers a lovely roundness to the final blend. Botanical ingredients evocative of the French Riviera, add further aromatic layers, a delicious complexity and luxurious texture. The result is a pale pink gin, with a unique style, bringing a burst of aromas to captivate the increasing numbers of gin lovers worldwide.
